There isn’t always room to squeeze my interests and passions into my long form work.
Nevertheless, they crave creative outlet. So this is the sketchbook pick’n’mix bar of potential projects
Boring info about my background, I graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
I’ve had a far more interesting time since then.
A Note on Tarot Musings

I like to go very deep into the symbols and hidden mysteries of the Tarot. My main source is usually the Rider Waite, because it’s accessible to most people, and in my experience, still has layers of buried symbols, subtle mirroring and clever connections that catch me by surprise – I’m still finding new things, as well as enjoying reframing the old.
I also try to avoid adding to the growing consumerisation of esoteric studies and magical practice. So I might deliberately pick familiar visuals we’ve all seen a million times before, just to be facetious 😉
However
I hope it goes without saying, of course I recognise the old deck utterly lacks diversity and representation of our gorgeously spectrum’d, global, and variously-bodied communities.
Let me state for the record, when I write and think about archetypes, genders, roles, actions or hypotheticals, I fully include everybody out there with an interest in and a calling to the mystic devices within tarot. Just because I may reference this old deck, it certainly does not mean I do not include and consider everyone when I write about symbolism. I also remind others to check their own assumptions and judgements, because I will be deliberate in not showing much of myself through the visuals I choose to show.
We all have the full gamut of human experience within our subtle spectrums, and I am always eager to enjoy others’ interpretations, perspectives and experiences, so please share, and know that EVERYONE is welcome.
